How can I get work as a bartender in Chicago?

I'm 20 and I know you have to be 21 in Chicago, but I thought maybe I could learn at 20 in a bar. Would getting a license help me get a job? I just want it to be a part-time job not my career but don't know what I need to do in order to be qualified.
