I plan on relocating to CHicago in June 2008, when do I start looking for housing and work?

I want to relocate to chicago. When do I start looking for housing and work. I have my resume on Monster, Careerbuilders, and Yahoo Hotjobs, when should I apply for positions and notify apartments that Im coming?

1. Housing won't be a problem. Employment may.
2. i would just browse around now to see what they have. you still have quite a bit ofitme befor moving so i wouldn't worry about making any deals right now but if you get an idea of whats out there then it'll make it easier when the time comes. and maybe along your searches you'll find some deal you can strike up that will wait for you when yo uget out there
