1. Id either Look it up on internet & try to find The Info about it & call them up,
2. I think it really depends on what you would like to do for the taste of Chicago. If you want to work directly with the food vendors, I would research and call/visit those restaurants and let them know that you are interested in working for them during the taste of chicago. I'm sure they need all the help they can get during that time. Also, if you wanted to work for the site itself, I would go to the City of Chicago website and look under their special events sections, or parks and recreation - they may have an application online or even a number you can call if you wanted to work for the taste.
